Les Enfants Open Day

It was great to see so many families here to celebrate our 8th Birthday Open Day which was held on Saturday 5th May 2018. The theme was Jungle and lots of little people were dressed up for the occasion. The stalls were very popular with the baking, adult and child tombola going fast. Everyone had a “roaring” time at the puppet show, with parents saying it was “Hilarious” and “the best puppet show I have seen”. The bouncy castle was as popular as ever with the safari hunt, playdough table and animal boogie great fun too.

Out and about in the Community

Inverurie Academy Campus approached all the nurseries in the local area to build community links and involve the nursery children in the process of the new build. They have arranged to come along to the nursery throughout the building process with Dave the Bear who helps on the building site. They will take big books with photographs of the site and the progress so far, a selection of role play vests and hard hats for the children to learn about the building trades and the work that goes on. The aim is to teach the children about work roles and how to keep ourselves safe.

Learning is fun!

The children have enjoyed recent interests such as, people who help us, life cycles, and Egypt. During our ‘people who help us’ interest the children learned about Dentists and how we can take care of our teeth. They also explored more on Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics.

Some recent trips have been to Easter Anguston Farm, Fyvie Castle and Macduff Aquarium. Children from Les Apres who are starting school this August also attended an Absafe trip, where they identify hazards in the kitchen, living room and on the road.

We thank all our Parents and Carers who have continued to support Les Enfants and offer suggestions on how we can continue to improve our service. We are always keen to have feedback and welcome comments at any time.

We continue to add to our experienced team and we recruit a high calibre for the Les Enfants team. To help us achieve high standards we provide additional training and processes to ensure the best care, learning and stimulation for the children. Registration of interest for childcare places is good and we now have a waiting list for some age groups on specific days. There are still places available so please don't delay in registering your interest. We are offering invites to view the nursery by appointment.

You are welcome to come and meet the team, check out the facilities and confirm your child's place at the nursery. You can contact us on 01467 623240 or by by email for a brochure or to enrol your child and secure a place.

We look forward to welcoming the children, parents and families to Les Enfants Nursery.
